Dragondola

苗場ドラゴンドラ

A breathtaking aerial journey flaunting the peak of autumn and winter scenery.

The Naeba Dragondola is Japan’s longest gondola ride, spanning 5,481 meters to connect the Naeba Highlands to the Tashiro Highlands at the summit. Rising 425 meters in elevation, the 25-minute trip offers breathtaking aerial views of the emerald-green Lake Futai together with the majestic mountains and crystal-clear streams that surround it.

In autumn, the mountains are painted in vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows, making it feel like you’ve stepped into a work of art. In winter, the landscape transforms into a shimmering snowy wonderland. Look down, and you might spot the adorable footprints of wild rabbits and serows in the snow.

Many activities can be enjoyed from autumn to winter, promising just as much fun after stepping off the gondola.
