At the Yuzawa Kogen Alp no Sato, you can enjoy various outdoor activities including trekking, walking, and a zip-line adventure.
The ropeway connects Echigo-Yuzawa Station with Alp no Sato in just seven minutes. At 1,300meters long, it is one of the world’s biggest ropeways, and has a capacity of 166 passengers.
The boarding station is at a convenient location near JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station and the hot spring area.
Alp no Sato is an altitude of 1,000 meters, and features a garden made with rocks, as well as 200 rare species of alpine plants you would normally only see at highlands around 2,500 meters above sea level. You can also enjoy the summer bobsleigh, mini-go carts, and a variety of events at the peak. There are several restaurants too, so come and try some with your family!
