Kakudahama Beach

角田浜海水浴場

The beach guarded by a white lighthouse

A beach at the foot of Mt. Kakuda with a lighthouse as a landmark.
It also lies at the start of the Echigo Nanaura Seaside scenic coastline, famed for its long, broad strand, blue waters and the white lighthouse on the cape.
Sado Island is within sight on a clear day, making this a well-known sunset viewing point.
This is a leisure destination where you can enjoy the Japan Sea in summer to the max, because it has famous spots and ruins like the Hanganfuna Kakushi walkway, as well as a campground.
