Takada Castle Site Park Cherry Blossom Festival
第100回高田城址公園観桜会Join in one of Japan's three great night time cherry blossom events at this enchanting castle park.
The cherry blossoms at Takada Castle Site Park are considered one of Japan's best three night time cherry blossom light-up displays. The park sits on the historic grounds of Takada Castle, originally built as the residence of Matsudaira Tadateru, the sixth son of Tokugawa Ieyasu.
4,000 cherry blossoms engulf Takada Castle Site Park during their peak bloom, bolstered by the illumination of the three-story turret (once a weapons storehouse) and "bonbori" paper lanterns.
