Ojiya Balloon Festival
おぢや風船一揆Balloon with pure white snow scenery
It is a hot air balloon event held every year in Ojiya City.
During the day, you can see colorful balloons lined up and flying in the snow field.
In Japan, it’s the only opportunity where you can see hot air balloon with pure white snow scenery.
You can also ride on a balloon and float to a safe height.
In the evening, fireworks rise behind the lit balloon.
