Uonuma Jozo is one of the world's largest factories, producing fermented foods such as rice koji and koji amazake.
In addition to factory tours [reservation required], at the café "Uonuma Koji Salon" attached to the factory,
You can encounter flavors that can only be tasted here, such as koji amazake directly delivered from the factory and rich soft serve ice cream made with koji amazake.
In addition, there is a library that introduces fermented foods and a select shop that enriches your daily diet.
