Katakai Fireworks Festival dedicating for Asahara Shrine Fall Festival


Guiness World Record, the largest size of fireworks, Shou-yonshakudama!

Katakai Festival is also called "Fireworks festival", it's a fall festival of Asahara Shrine. In this Katakai Festival, "Shou-yonshakudama" is known as the largest size of the fireworks in the world. In Katakai town, series of traditional events which pray for firework launch's success and safety are held from the morning. ●The number of fireworks displayed: 15,000 for 2 days.

●20 minutes by the shuttle bus from the temporary parking area, which takes 5 minutes from Ojiya IC (Kanetsu Expressway)
