A quiet hot spring nestled in the mountains beside a mountain stream, where you can enjoy foods made using locally grown mountain vegetables from early summer onwards.
Each of the three accommodation facilities’ springs have different properties, but all of them are renowned as having beautifying effects on the skin. This area is therefore popular with women, who come seeking smooth and supple skin.
Nearby Koryu Shrine is where the god of business prosperity is enshrined and sees a never-ending flow of visitors from Niigata and every region of Japan. Built in a beautiful location surrounded on three sides by mountains in the upper reaches of the Ota River, this shrine is filled with a solemn and mysterious atmosphere.
