Shirasagi Forest Park

しらさぎ森林公園

Boasts 20,000 Japanese water irises

The night sky above Shirasagi Forest Park shines with the mystical light of fireflies in early summer. Genji and Heike fireflies are the species here.
The fireflies perform their elegant dance over some 20,000 Japanese irises blooming in the park.

The Iris Festival is held from mid-June to early July every year, with events such as health walks and hand catching of rainbow trout.
This park is a barrier-free zone, accessible to all ages.
