Gosen Hachimangu Shrine
五泉八幡宮A colorful shrine filled with dazzling photo opportunities and seasonal decorations!
Gosen Hachimangu Shrine occupies the historic site of Gosen Castle. Over 40 deities are enshrined in its precincts, bestowing blessings of triumph, protection from misfortune, prosperity, and even matchmaking. The grounds are adorned with captivating seasonal decorations, including playful soap bubbles and umbrellas in the sky, making it a sought-after shrine for photographers.
Every July, the “Tanabata Wind Chime Festival: Journey Along the Milky Way” transforms the shrine into a spectacle. Approximately 5,000 wind chimes, gathered from across Japan and abroad, fill the air with their soothing tones. The grounds are also illuminated at night, creating a magical combination of light and sound.
