Snowsports Schools and Childcare

There are many options for both Japanese and international snow schools, from beginners to experts. Myoko Snowsports international snowsports school is one of the biggest and most popular, offering group and private lessons in Akakura Kanko/Onsen, as well as at Lotte Arai Resort. Private “multi-resort'' programs are offered for guests to explore the resorts in the area, meaning you can ride 5 different resorts in 5 days, and powder programs are available for those looking for a guide to all the best lift-accessible spots for everyone, from first-time powder skiers to seasoned veterans. Their resident professional instructors will ensure you have an unforgettable experience.
Go Myoko is an international snow school located at Alpen Blick Resort, providing lessons in Alpen Blick and Suginohara. Dancing Snow in Akakura provides lessons as well as backcountry tours on skis, snowboard and telemark.
Most snow schools offer lessons for children from 3 years old; however, for our younger guests, there are options for childcare in Akakura and Lotte Arai Resort. Myoko Snowsports offers childcare services for children from 6 months to 4 years old during lift operating hours, and Lotte Arai’s childcare services are available in their ‘Kid’s Room’ from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
