Yasuragitei Embankment
信濃川やすらぎ堤緑地
A waterfront promenade along the Shinano River where water, grass and trees coexist in harmony. In the summer, the area is lively and colorful with a row of beer gardens and other places to eat and drink along the river. The waterfront is also the venue for the tremendously popular fireworks display that is the grand finale of the Niigata Matsuri, festival, in August each year.
