Kenshin Festival

第98回謙信公祭

Spectacular Sengoku History!

The Kenshin Festival is held in honor of the Sengoku warlord Kenshin Uesugi’s bravery and virtue. The parade starts with brave warriors dressed in traditional Japanese armor, followed by more warriors with swords, and a reproduction of the Kawanaka battle -- which you can't see anywhere else! The festival attracts many visitors every year.
