Every year on July 6 & 7, the castle town of Murakami hosts a festival of pomp and grandeur only possible in Murakami. Witness a beautiful procession featuring traditional lacquer-framed parade floats called oshagiri, some over 200 years old.
The whole town is enveloped in gaiety by the spectacular Oshagiri (floats).
